Otro juego musical saldrá durante las primeras semanas del mes de noviembre de mano de Activision. Bajo el nombre de Band Hero nos encontramos un juego que se decanta hacia temas más pop y más conocidas para el gran publico, ya que en las sagas de Guitar Hero, salvo que fueras un fan incondicional, había unas cuantas canciones que no eran excesivamente conocidas.

Con gente como Evanescence, Nelly Furtado, No Doubt o las Spice Girls entre otros, este juego posiblemente alcance más público, acercando temas de los últimos tiempos y algún otro de algunas décadas atrás pero que seguramente no sea desconocido para nadie.

Contará con 65 temas en Wii, PS2, PS3 y Xbox 360 (y posiblemente en estas dos últimas alguno más gracias a las descargas a través de Playstation Network.) y 30 en Nintendo DS.
