Bioshock es un First Person Shooter (FPS) basado en una atmósfera claustrofóbica, una ciudad subacúatica sumida en el caos. En este video vemos un montaje de diferentes partes de la ciudad in-game.

Por otra parte el título es exclusivo para PC y Xbox 360, aunque ha saltado el rumor de una posible versión para PlayStation 3 según la PlayStation Magazine de Gran Bretaña.
